Lee Sherlock
Lee has recently joined our team and brings with him a wealth of experience in elite and sub-elite sports settings.
He is a musculoskeletal injury specialist, having received a BSc. (Hons) in Athletic Therapy and Training from Dublin City University. He specialises in the assessment, treatment and prevention of sports injuries. In addition to this, Lee also has passion for Athletic Performance and Strength and Conditioning, specialising in assisting people unlocking their full athletic potential.
Lee has worked with numerous teams, across a number of sports, both in Ireland and the US. He has a keen interest in GAA and Rugby, having worked as lead Athletic Therapist and Strength and Conditioning coach for the Sligo Senior Hurling team, and their underage Academy. He has had similar involvement with Rugby teams at schools, intervarsity and senior levels. His interest in GAA also led to him being part of a research team investigating injury rates in LGFA and Camogie Referees, which was later published in the Irish Medical
Journal.
Regardless of your performance level, from high-level athlete to “just for fun”, Lee provides an evidence-based approach in the treatment of all injuries, exercise rehabilitation, injury prevention and ongoing conditioning.
